Our
Mission: To
inspire, educate, and disciple
the
nations in the truth of God’s character and kingdom!
Hello Friends!
We hope you are doing well and would love to hear from
you. We are
into a routine these days with our schedules and are
really enjoying our teaching ministries here.
Beth
I have eleven students in my
Reading Class (Kindergarten) ~ seven girls and four
boys. They
keep me on my toes and are a joy!
I also have two wonderful ladies working with me:
Ana from Colombia and Rebecca from Ghana (West
Africa). It
is a blessing having a team of teachers, since I am also
taking the philosophy course of Teachers for the
Nations, learning the Christian view of history,
government, and education.
In that course, there are students from Colombia,
El Salvador, Venezuela, France, and America (with staff
from Peru and West Africa).

It has been awesome to learn about
Providential History, seeing God’s hand throughout
history as He has worked through individuals to bring
liberty to mankind.
It’s humbling and exciting to see how God
invites us to partner with Him to first know Him (which
results in liberty) and then to make Him known.
It’s also been very interesting to learn about
God’s Biblical design for government starting with the
individual then moving onto the family, the church, and
the nation. I
am learning that the founding fathers of America built
this nation upon Biblical principles and self-governing
individuals who obey the truth of God’s Word.
At it’s birth, America was set apart as a
nation exemplifying the religious and civil liberty God
desires for all people.
So, it is exciting to be a part of bringing
America back to her First Love and seeing God’s
purpose for America fulfilled—to be a blessing to all
the nations of the earth by proclaiming the Gospel in
every sphere of society.
I am also thrilled to see God
reviving the original calling and desire to teach
children. I
am growing in my understanding of how God uses education
to practically transform nations from the ground up.
As children are trained in the Word of God
through every subject, they will be the leaders of the
future with a Biblical worldview, which will impact
every field into which the Lord leads them.
I enjoy learning how every subject in education
comes from God and teaches us about Him, so each subject
is important. It
is wonderful teaching the children (even five and six
year olds!) to reason from Biblical principles, thinking
through their answers and understanding God’s Word for
themselves. My
desire is to see nations (including America) transformed
from the inside out by the Word of God in every sphere
of society (family, education, church, government,
economics, arts & entertainment, and the media). It is a joy to imagine how the Lord will use these children
to be His leaders for the next generation.
Specifically, in the Reading Class,
I am teaching phonograms with The Writing Road to
Reading curriculum by Romalda Spalding.
The children’s desire to learn is wonderful,
and it is so encouraging to know that I am helping to
lay the foundation for them to read the Bible for
themselves.
On a funny note, one student
explained to me that the reason why he was having
trouble saying his “r’s” was because he was from
Houston, and people speak Spanish in Houston. :) I explained to
him that where I am from, in San Marcos, lots of people
speak Spanish also, but we still have to say our “r’s.”
They keep me laughing!

I thank God for the opportunity to
work on staff with School of the Bible.
God has been preparing me for some time now to
teach and disciple.
I know that process will continue even as I move
into full time ministry.

SOTB
class in session
The School of the Bible is divided
into three tracts – Biblical History/ Nature of God
and Man/ Historical View of Ministry.
I am leading the team responsible for the
Biblical History tract.
We oversee the curriculum, assign and grade the
homework, teach and schedule other teachers for this
particular tract.
We just completed the Old Testament
Introduction week.
This week included topics like Inerrancy, a
Kingdom of God overview, Old Testament History overview,
and Creation.

God's
Beautiful Creation
I personally taught on the Kingdom
of God, especially how it is first established in the
heart and then moves outward to all areas of society.
We cannot hope to see the Kingdom come if we are
working only on the externals. People must understand the truth of God’s character and
Word so that they can be transformed internally.
Once they know the truth, they can be set free.
That is true for individuals,
families, cities and nations.
History has proven that those nations that do not
walk in the light of God’s truth live in all kinds of
bondage such as poverty, sickness, crime and
governmental oppression.
It is my desire to see individuals and nations
transformed by the love of God and the power of the
gospel.
We are excited to have six nations
represented in the school this year; Belize, Haiti,
Costa Rica, Canada, Mexico, and the U.S. Pray that
we can be a great blessing to them all so that they can
be equipped for all that God has for their lives!

School of the Bible is planning on
taking a trip to South Dakota!
If you are not aware, the legislature of South
Dakota recently passed a ban on abortion.
Planned Parenthood and others rallied people to
sign a petition against the ban which forced the issue
to the public for a vote.
The people of South Dakota will be voting on this
in November. If
the people of South Dakota vote for the ban, it could
work like a domino effect for change across the nation.
YWAM Tyler has committed to pray
for this and is sending different teams to South Dakota
to pray and read the Word of God aloud.
As School of the Bible, we felt that we should
make a trip to South Dakota.
Our school will go at the end of October, and I
am praying about whether I should go on the trip with the school.
Remember, the most important thing
is that the hearts of Americans will change and that
abortion will be seen for what it is.
We don’t want to focus only on the external
law. Pray
for the hearts of Americans to turn back to God and
repent!!
Thanks for taking time to check in with us,
Jason and Beth
